| The Supreme Committee for the Supervision of the Telecommunication Sector is the empowered body to establish and oversee the UAE National Telecom Policy, issues general guidance and instructions for the telecommunication sector necessary for the country's national security and international relations, issues telecom licenses, determines fees for licenses, among other powers pursuant to the UAE Federal Law by Decree No. 3 of 2003. |
