TRA Takes Part in ICS ServiceMark Launch

The Telecommunciations Regulatory Authority (TRA) took part in the launching ceremony of the International Customer Service Standard "ICS ServiceMark" in UAE. The event was organized by Abu Dhabi International Centre for Organizational Excellence (ADICOE) and it was held on Wednesday, January 19, at 11:00 am, in Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI) building.

The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) follows the latest best intyernationally- recognised practises to continsouly improve its customer service performance. As a result, the TRA was crowned last year when it won "Sheikh Khalifa Government Excellence Award" for Customer Service in November 2010.

H.E. Mohamed Nasser Al Ghanim, TRA Director General commented on the event saying: "We are delighted to take part in this distinguished event. The International Customer Service Standard aims to enrich the knowledge of each organization willing to start the journey towards Customer Service Excellence."

ADICOE is the sole licensed holder of ICS ServiceMark accreditation program in UAE which is the UK Benchmark Standard for customer service. The Institute of Customer Service (ICS) is the professional body for customer service whose primary purpose is to lead and raise customer service performance and professionalism.

ICS ServiceMark aims to provide world-class customer service. It helps organizations to identify where improvements are needed, develop action plans for customer service and raise performance and delivery standards. Organizations that achieve accreditation can display the distinguishing mark of service from the Institute - the professional body for customer service.
