The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) announced the new launch date of the Mobile Number Portability Service for etisalat and du subscribers to the third quarter of this year.

TRA has foreseen the need to extend the Mobile Number Portability Service launch to the third quarter of this year in order to allow for several performance and functionality enhancements to the Mobile Number Portability system, and so as to align the industry, has reintroduced the system to the Licensees for testing activities and will launch the service as soon as they are ready.
