TRA participates in the Campaign “Ata'ahad”

The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) participated in the campaign “Ata'ahad” launched by “Al Emarat Al Youm” to stop using mobile phones while driving. The campaign aims to raise public awareness about the importance of not using mobile phones while driving for everyone’s safety.

H.E. Mohamed Nasser Al Ghanim, TRA Director General, signed the document for the campaign " Ata'ahad" launched by “Al Emarat Al Youm” in collaboration with many government and private entities and companies.

Commenting on the campaign, H.E. Mohamed Nasser Al Ghanim, TRA Director General, said: “TRA is very keen to be always an active part of such campaigns, especially since the aim is for public safety. We also believe in the importance of the campaign ‘Ataahhad’ along with its positive role in serving our society and ensuring its safety on a whole. Our participation in the campaign represents a part of our social responsibilities towards UAE.”

“We would like to thank everyone who participated in the success of this valuable initiative, and we are certain that everyone will cooperate to give success to this campaign. We hope to see more participations from individuals, entities, and institutions as we believe we all assume this responsibility.” Al Ghanim added. 

Many individuals, along with private and public institutions, have signed the document for the campaign “Ata'ahad”, where everyone underlined the importance of this campaign in protecting the community.

Over its history, UAE’s TRA has been an active player in all initiatives that benefit the country by actively contributing through its expertise.
