The TRA holds its digital Ramadan Majlis

The Telecommunication Regulatory Authority holds today evening its digital Ramadan Majlis to discuss smart government enablers on Microsoft Teams in attendance of more than 150 smart transformation pioneers representing 40 federal entities. This session is the final one in a series of sessions held by the TRA during the holy month of Ramadan 

During the session, the smart government enablers team will provide some consultancy services related to digital transformation and exchange experiences to apply best practices regarding indicators of smart government enablers.

On this occasion, H.E. Salem Al Hosani, Acting Deputy Director General for Information and eGovernment Sector, said: “as per the directives of the wise leadership to work as one team, the TRA is keen to consult its strategic partners to exchange ideas and suggestions and enable fruitful cooperation to achieve the UAE visions, digital transformation and sustainable development goals. This session emphasizes the importance of continuous cooperation of all entities to find solutions for all challenges and keep up the pace of achievement.”

Al Hosani thanked federal entities which attended the two previous sessions. He added: “Thanks to all entities which participated in the two previous digital sessions organized by the TRA during this holy month of Ramadan. We discussed different issues related to digital transformation in the UAE and society happiness about government services. Our meetings highlight the government entities readiness to overcome all obstacles and proved best services. Our success to deal with the current situation is a result of great efforts exerted by the government towards digital transformation.”

The digital Ramadan Majlis discusses digital transformation in federal entities, how to develop and digitalise services, improve user experience, enhance digital presence of government entities and exchange experiences to apply best practices regarding indicators of smart government enablers.

The Telecommunication Regulatory Authority is keen to keep contact with its strategic partners and hold meetings and workshops to enable cooperation based on what  was achieved in ICT sector and digital transformation. The TRA held last week a virtual workshop about the latest updates of smart government enablers in attendance of more than 150 experts from federal entities.
